If you have any accessibility concerns, please let us know or check with us before booking. info@oaststudio.co.uk We are delighted to add the Kingfisher to our Beloved British Birds series!  Synonymous with hazy summer days spent beside shimmering streams and shallow pools the Kingfisher is part of our English heritage.  Come and learn how to needle felt and celebrate the royal colours of this beautiful bird while they are most active, tirelessly catching food for their half dozen young who eat 12-18 fish a day during the months of May and June! During this workshop you will learn… How to make a naturalistic Kingfisher with vibrant colours How to wrap and shape core wool forms How to create subtle colour feather effects  How to make the beak How to wrap the Kingfisher’s wire legs and insert into a wooden base Whats included...
